« on: August 07, 2009, 02:06:21 PM »
Hi..

We all know putting in funds to your forex account should be a breeze.
Can you share your experinces with brokers when you request a withdrawal of some or all your funds from the account? ( asssuming you have been profitable)

I withdraw EUR 3.000 from my Alpari UK account and it was processed within an hour. So I expect it to arrive in Belgium in the beginning of the week.

I did have to pay GBP 15,00 for it, which I didn't like... (they say it's free, but that's only if you live in the UK)

I was with FXCM US and closed out my account.  I received my funds in less than a week with no problems.

I have withdrawn from accounts with FXCM and Forex.com.  Both were taken care of with 1-3 business days.

Not exactly what your are asking for but here was my experience.  I did an international wire transfer from the U.S. out of my Scottrade account to my Dukascopy account in Switzerland.  Scottrade said international for them could take 3 business days.  However, it was done in 24 hours.  Scottrade charged me $40 for international and it looks like UBS Bank for Dukascopy hit my transfer for $35.  Just my experience last week.

withdrawals from Broco are very easy.  it's all electronic.  just log into your account back area and request the amount.  withdrew 1000.00 and got 946.00. takes about 2-3 days.  not bad for a overseas broker (st petersburg)  they respond very quickly too and don't hide behind emails although their ECN spreads should come down. I can manage with the spreads though. but the commissions they charge are good.  5.00 per full lot. the withdraw process is why i stay.  they don't play around!

MBT is very quick.  same day.

We got into argument with a friend, whose broker will withdraw profit faster. I'm a Freshforex trader, and trades with another well-known broker.  The same amount - $ 150, payment system: WebMoney. I received my amount within the promised 10 minutes, to be exact, in 8 minutes, my whole sum was on the card. As for my friend, he suffered from the problem  with submission, then the money came only after half an hour. So I won the argument!

Made several withdrawals from Hotforex, Total amount is about $7K. No verification calls, processed on skrill for 5-10 hours. Excellent experience.

I believe that my profit withdrawals from hotforex are usually processed on the same business day without any hassles and transferred to my skrill on the next day and i guess it is good so far. Moreover i usually keep the necessary capital with every broker i trade and withdraw my profits regularly.

I recently started trading with lqdfx.com and made my first withdrawal last Tuesday. Being a fairly new broker I was a little apprehensive, however, I was very pleased when I received my profit in just under 24 hours.
