Here's a new one for you to look at, FXMower

Visit Seller Site

I have also added it to live test this weekend.

The seller says you need from $250 but my 400gbp test account is only big enough to 'properly' trade session 1 (out of 2 sessions), at the suggested 25% risk (i think this is one of those that churns profit and is supposed to only rarely hit this limit). I have set it to trade both sessions anyway but note the high risk here. This is far from the worst offender here though (think, forex funnel which needs bigger accounts, also Rocket which i looked at recently and had to rule out because i couldn't/didn't want to put down the required $3500).

What i'm trying to say is, you really need $750+ to trade this one.

re. setup, this is easy to setup, no problems here and the setup guide is only 3 pages long. FXMower has a risk calculation formula for working out your lot size that might confuse a few people who are not mathematically minded - if in doubt just set minimum risk to begin and ask for help.

Please leave your comments here. I'm not sure if the seller is planning to join us or not to answer questions but i'll try to help if anyone has any since i'm running a test account.

How can one close a position during a gap?
I took the trades from  http://www.myfxbook.com/members/fxmower/fxmower/2129594  and plotted them on a chart.
The close time is after the weekend 04.24.2017 00:00
It looks like this:

I don't like what I see here:

04.24.2017 05:19   04.24.2017 06:26   EURUSD   Buy   4.10   1.08251   1.08444   19.3   791.30   1h 6m   30.04%
04.24.2017 02:24   04.24.2017 05:19   EURUSD   Buy   0.80   1.08794   1.08235   -55.9   -447.20   2h 54m   -14.51%

He took a loss with a position with 0.8 lots
and on the same minute where he closed that losing position, he opened a new position in the same direction with 5 times larger lot size 4.1 lots

The Pip expectancy is a negative number, which is explained by this money management/ lot sizing.

I've had this EA for 3 days now and no trades - beginning to think there might be an issue.

My copy of FxMower made 1.28% on $500 in 2 weeks.  The official copy made 5.82% on $4861 in 2 weeks.  There is some correlation between the trades in different accounts.  Of the five trades that FxMower made for me 3 were exited as stop losses.  Two of those were in profit and one was a loss.  I have never seen that exactly.  I agree with Donna that the EA seems to need much more than $250 to get the full benefit.  The developer seems to be wildly optimistic about its prospects but I just cannot concur in that.  There may be trading set ups where it would do well, but obviously the last 2 week period was not one of them.  They say they have a thirty day refund but they are trying to force me to keep it, bringing in conditions to a refund that were not explicitly listed when I bought it.  I do not think that I can be made to keep something that I do not want.  They can deactivate it as soon as they refund me and they know that.
