There are some difference as the reason why in live account often fail, meanwhile trading in demo often succeed, first and become most reason is demo account without involved emotion, while in live involved emotion, second in demo account usually start with high capital more than 5k USD, meanwhile in real trading only use $100, Third reason is about trading server, in demo account usually run smoothly without delay, meanwhile in the real trading server if very busy can influence on the execution order.

Sometimes I am taking part in a demo contest competition by forexcup, but so far never become a winner because all competitor is a good trader and the amazing trading result they can make, but I ever get a prize from contest guess rate on certain pair in FXopen guess rate, twice I get the victory, although only get $30, nothing wrong, because to take part is free, now they change to forum.forex.game

"In my view, I find that the demo account is useful for both beginners to learn about forex and experienced traders to try backtest any trading strategy or robot trading.

The real account is used to make profits by taking certain risks and using the best strategy that has been used in the demo account."

Many trading systems, especially momentum-based ones which produce good results on demo, often trade at loss in live account. So backtesting is really tricky thing, sometimes you have to do some adjustments that make the strategy viable on live and at the same time retain an edge.

I often join this contest, it's virtual/demo contest so it's worthy to join, small prizes but free to enroll:

Looks interesting. Have you ever won any prize in this contest?

We just released a new system.  It's automated and allows you to copy the trades of a professional Fund manager.  We have a live verified account.  And the returns are insane...

It's called The Fund Trader and you can learn more here https://www.leapfx.com/thefundtrader.html

It's still consolidating around 1.2100. It will likely do that until the market closes this week.

Dear Traders, Investors

Its been a good week for us reaching New High with very satisfiying Results

We done handling the slippage issue, as market liquidity change, we should adapt faster than others

Curency Pairs Portfolio rebalancing also adapt to fundamental current condition

Thats whats make our algo trading keep running good.

As i believed, there is no PERFECT and GRAIL system.
The GRAIL is our ability to adapt back to back with live market condition.

Thats why i always said, never sell my EA, because who didnt do "adapt" will be left behind

Happy Weekend, Happy Profits

See you all next weeks, and Keep Pumping Pips  :)

NB : Hope our algo surprise gettin ready before next week trade session :)

Brokers / Re: Brokers with fastest execution speed

"Some brokers at the early stage are good with the execution speed, but as days pass by, the execution speed starts dropping.

After doing some research and reading reviews, I currently trade with FP Markets, and it has been two months with this broker so far, the execution speed is pretty quicker than other ecn brokers like ICM and Pepperstone."
