While grids might not get fresh start as much as martingales. The later will get a margin call a lot faster and may happen over night.

Some grids may last for multiple years before blowing up while i have not seen any martingale that has survived more than 18 month. 6 months seems to be the average  ;)

My signals provider has been on signal start for 5 months. He should blow up soon. Statistically.

Thank you for that cheerful, statistical projection!   :)

Just as I am about to double my investment. But I may well revert to 1x risk for a little while after I do that. Currently running at 16% pm and 8% would still be acceptable.

GrowthSense FX

Another EURUSD only signal on my watch-list - trades steadily and very differently to My Signal.

But why has he withdrawn almost all his capital leaving just $11 in Balance after a mammoth multi-week struggle to close the latest trades?

This is an aggressive martingale. Extremely risky.

If the market gets volatile at any point you will potentially margin call in a single day.

Yes, but a prudent one I think and does not blindly go marty. Today he soon accepted that the move had changed and so a large reversal trade to close out in profit. This is what gives me confidence in the signal. Seems to read the market well.

If he knows how to read the market he wont go marty in the first place. Period. Both grid and martingales are for people who dont have a successful strategy to predict the next move.

Just wondering

WealthOS has been on my watchlist for a while but August and September have been way off previous returns.
If we look at the trades being taken lately vs in prior months it is easy to see why. He is now only trading 2 or 3 pairs compared to around 15 before. Leaving followers with now very poor returns compared to the "promised/indicative" return on signup.

And then we get notified that this trader has listed another Signal - Beyond Pearls, doing great at around 30% pm just like WealthOS was doing earlier with the same currency pairs. But subscription fee is $69 for this new signal; was $30 for WealthOS.
(WealthOS was started with $500 and trades microlots; Beyond Pearls was started with $2650 and trades minilots.)

So what is going on? What will happen to this new signal - continue with same amount of trading or a massive reduction as occurred for WealthOS?

IMHO,

It's easy to see what is going on.

WealthOS trading start date 2021-02-01. Date added to Signal start 2021-07-15. The signal was added to SignalStart the very month before the huge drop in performance. Add to this an unknown broker and well... you get the picture.

Same as Copy Classic (https://www.signalstart.com/analysis/copy-classic/215821). Trading start date 2020-11-02. Date the signal was added to SignalStart 2021-07-14. Huge drop in performance started the month after the signal was added to SignalStart. Add to this an unknown broker OxisFX.

Same as  CurrencyDrive (https://www.signalstart.com/analysis/currencydrive/218014). Trading start date 2021-01-27. Date the signal was added to SignalStart 2021-08-11. Huge drop in performance started the month after the signal was added to SignalStart. As to this an unknown broker Pearl Capital Markets.

Similar to  Copy Classic Forex Signals (which I am subscribed to, https://www.signalstart.com/analysis/copy-classic/215821). Trading start date 2020-11-02. Date the signal was added to SignalStart 2021-07-14. Large drop in performance the month after adding to SignalStart (Aug 2021) followed by another drop in performance (so far) in Sep.

And now Beyond Pearls is doing a similar thing where it was added to SignalStart this month (Sep 2021), now it's performance is noticeably lower than previous months and has same broker as WealthOS.

Lesson here is ALWAYS pay attention to the date the signal was added to SignalStart and wait a couple/few months after that before subscribing and possibly being underwhelmed.

Signal start should allow users to filter out systems to include only the performance after getting added to signal start while ignoring the past performance.

Its getting obvious that signal start knows that a dozen of new scam systems are being added to their website every single week

Yes I was amazed - when I checked the "Date Added" in the full list I noticed that in the last few months there have been around 100 new signals entered each month; not all scam I assume but a hell of a lot.

We can of course see monthly performance over the full trading history by hovering over the Monthly bars in the chart; but sure would be good for SS to do as you suggest for the filtering option. And then also perhaps show only performance since added in the Advanced Stats. Might even be a bit of a deterrent to the scammers knowing that people won't be so easily fooled anymore.

This system is the only one that you can find that has made very high profit AFTER getting added to signal start. And if you monitor carefully you wont see neither grid nor martingale gambling approach.

Wow, that is some heavy trading. Many times opening up to a dozen trades every 5 secs or so this week. Maybe that is his way of money management since he is using the same lot size since start at $5K account; now $21K. But nearly 200% for the month! Even MDP never achieved that. How long do you think he can maintain that? And are you copying?

I discovered this signal while looking around for something to trade on my Live2 account:

Lt Investment Forex Signals
https://www.signalstart.com/analysis/lt-investment/208251
since 2020-12-28, added 2021-05-14
Tickmill, 500:1, $40/mo, DD 20210928 37.95%

A frequent trader at 474 trades per month
A low but ok expectancy at 3.7 pips
Has not had the infamous drop in return the month after going live on SignalStart
High number of pips, almost 16,000 since Dec 2020
Mystery blank (or almost blank) months Dec 2020-Mar 2021
Has withdrawn 100% of startup capital
Low but ok equity currently in account (almost 11K)
Currently almost 25% in floating DD

I am adding this to my watchlist (http://alpine.future-lab.com/tmp/watchlist.txt)

But isn't this switch from 0.12 lot to 0.36 lot as per image, a sign of marty trying to recover losses? First time trading 0.36.

This one is a dangerous aggressive martingale

No its not a martingale

0.12 * 15 open positions at the same time = 1.92
0.36 * 3 open = 1.08

There is no increase in total position sizing
