Does FP Markets service people outside of Australia though? ASIC banned their brokers from servicing non-Australians quite a while ago.

Most if not all of the Aussie brokers opened offshore entities to cater for non-AU resident clients. FP Markets is no exception.

Whats your experience with these offshore accounts? IC-Markets appears to be similar on the technical side. But what about regulation matters?

Cheers

Experience has varied from terrible (AXI), easy (IC Markets) to a smooth seamless transition (Global Prime).
Of course you come under regulation of the region in which they setup so this is a consideration.

New Zealand is offshore to Australia. The Kiwis are a bit kamikaze when it comes to skiing, :), but I believe their regulators are a bit more disciplined. So BlackBull Markets is a consideration.
Happy to give you a "friendly" introduction.

I use an ASIC broker FP Markets. I mainly use them because of their spreads which start from 0.0pips through the day with lower slippages.

I also tend to use spreads as main criteria because when volatility climbs higher and trading opportunities emerge you have to make sure you won't lose on transaction costs.
