4xplosion or DIY, did any of you two pull the trigger on that signal? It looks decent, however the only flag to me is the shady broker it runs on. There's been a high abundance of shady brokers fabricating histories for usage on signal start. Forex Chief is one of the more notorious ones that has been busted doing this. But if the trades are looking decent, it could be worth a shot for teh cheap price. But those are the flags to me. To nice of a track record. Shady russian/offshore broker. Many unreputable brokers injecting fake histories. And to cheap for what it is.

Well-timed. I just moved some funds to BB Markets today so I can follow the signal at 100:1 leverage. The trade history looks real enough to me, but thanks for your red flags. I will proceed with caution.

The long-term average monthly return of 14% has slipped quite a bit in 2021, more like 4% pm at this stage, so not as attractive any more; but let's see what happens.

What is the motivation behind following somebody's signals?

What is the motivation behind following somebody's signals?

Possibilities include:

An acknowledgement that we/I am not the sole source of wisdom and profitable undertakings. So why not take advantage of that.

Diversifying risk.

A genuine interest in seeing someone else's approach to trading.

That's definitely the reasons why. Let us know how you get on there DIY. You will be the sacrificial lamb for us ;). Hopefully not and hopefully you get some early profits. But curious to see how it unfolds. Your right in that the performance has dropped significantly. Id still go slow and steady for the first bit until you can see some of the trades and gauge yourself how they look etc...

OK, I'm following with AUD$5000, which means according to the lot size calculator mentioned elsewhere, that I need to trade at 0.2x lot size of the provider since almost always his smallest lot size is 0.05 lot and my smallest can only be 0.01 lot.

[Clarification: I need to set the multiplier in Signal Start to 1 in order to get the one-fifth lot sizing and same risk as provider. Provider is trading on USD$18K and I am at AUD$5K ]

He had a busy night last night, and seems to have managed to marty himself out of a losing set of buy trades, in a very narrow range price wise and time wise as shown in attached images. So the 4 lot trade covered the losses and more.

As much as I dislike such moves, he seems to know what he is doing, and it is these types of trades I think that leads to the 10+% pm profits that he has averaged over the three years so far.

Let's see how this goes.

Looks legit

Two days of copying saw some action on Thursday and left one open trade for the weekend. Had risk set wrongly for first trade (a shame since I would have recovered the monthly cost of USD $35 +$25 in just the one trade) but now all OK.

As shown in image, the pip result for copying was better in 4 out of the 5 trades. Copying to a prime ECN BlackBull Markets account.

So the trading looks legitimate. The process seems to start with a small lot size, 0.05 lots, and then either scale-in some more if all going well or marty heavily (up to 4 to 5 lots) if trade goes against him. Currently still has a bullish bias on EURUSD in that the open trade, 0.05 lots, is a Buy.

The Non-Excitement Machine Powers On

One trade closed with 45 pips profit. One open trade in small loss. All in one week's work.

This guy certainly has patience; and when you look at the EURUSD chart for the week, you can see why. Glad I am just following. I don't have that type of discipline.

Is anyone following this signal?

https://www.signalstart.com/analysis/bluewhale-capital/181110

Long track record, low DD, but variable profit over the years. Pip positive which is always a welcome sign when copying.

Am looking for a signal to balance the My Signal trader who only trades EURUSD, 5 trades a month.

The My Signal Forex
This guy does seem to know what he is doing. Enters with low lot size and builds from there. If trades go against him, he waits for a reversal opportunity to go in big and recover. Has been nothing but Buys since I started. All good so far. Given the current low monthly returns I switched to 2x risk just before he took his last large trade, so profited nicely as shown. I was also running Ord on this account but have stopped that. Hence the data shows filtered stats, to exclude the Ord trades none of which were eurusd.

Interesting list,

My take on it:

1. My Signal Forex Forex Signals - I am also watching this but my likelihood of trading this is very low mostly due to sub-par performance since April this year

2.  BlueWhale Capital Forex Signals - Suffers from the same problem as #1 except for a much longer time period. Sub-par performance since Sep 2020.

3. EverGreenFx Forex Signals - I am very excited about this. Insufficient  trade history. Nevertheless, I plan on investing 20% of my capital to it.

4. ORDequity - Not possible to trade for the reasons given here. Also not possible to join PAMM for me as Alpari kicked Canadians out years ago.

I am planning on creating a trading journal here soon including what I am trading, why and what I am watching.

For now here is my watch list (in text form) which I have been maintaining for over a year now http://alpine.future-lab.com/tmp/watchlist.txt

I'll try to update this watchlist each trading day.

Thanks for the List. You sure have been watching!

I guess the reason that I am inclined to My Signal and Bluewhale, rather than most of the others on your list, is the low DD and the nature of those DDs. So yes, currently at low returns but not because of any catastrophes. And with the low DDs, I feel comfortable going at 2x risk for these which obviously doubles the low returns making them acceptable in my view especially given their long track record. And like you, Evergreen seems worth a try. This week has been awesome.

Looking forward to reading your trading journal.

PS. I have not yet given up on "FrequentTrader" which you note has stopped trading several times. Have done a complete redesign and now testing live on a small account as per image. Maybe one day I will crack it. At least it keeps me occupied and engaged with the markets.  :)

My Signal - still doing well at 2x risk realising some 6% pm with very low DD. This guy knows how to trade.

Evergreen
- looks like we have had another reminder that if it looks too good to be true, then watch out. Especially when they use terms such as neural network models and road2millions (the channel used in the free FXBlue trial). Still, let's see how this plays out and what would have been the results if traded at a far more sensible risk.

Bluewhale - I still like this one and think it can easily be traded at 2x risk to yield about 6% pm. Has long track record and seems a cautious approach to trading. Might add it to the MySignal account, but will wait a few weeks to see if my new frequent trader portfolio can live up to its early steady performance in which case I will do that instead.
