Why not to move outside of US and start using flexible trading services?  ;D

I agree!  This is the best advice in my opinion.

I think it is pretty relevant advice for professional traders enjoying high leverage and OTC products.

You need to look at the broker's platform itself, because it always indicates the geo in which they work.

What do you mean by looking at brokers' platform? Server location or what? First of all I check their license and location of their head office in Linkedin and everything becomes clear.

I will be moving to the US for work, so I guess I will have to also have to follow the US trading restrictions (no hedging, 1:50) leverage, right? (I am a German citizen)
If so, I was wondering if there were any new opinions on
  • How I can avoid having to follow these limitations and continue using my brokers
  • Which brokers are the best of those that take people living in the US

People do you use offshore brokers that are registered elsewhere and follow the local legislation. That said, offshore brokers are, unfortunately, often registered in zones that provide no oversight and there are many bucketshops among them. I recommend a lot of caution and research if you do pick such a company.

If you are in the usa then you need to try out expert option. If you are always on youtube then you have probably seen the ads. The final choice however has to be yours. The broker provides all new traders with 10000 dollars demo money. If it rusn out then it is automatically recovered.

Every broker does allows virtual funds upto 100,000 usd to trade on a demo account so whats the difference which you are advertising here. Hotforex gives 10,000usd demo and lmfx (for us traders too) allow 100000usd in virtual funds and they also have demo to real contest too.

I guess you can choose 100K demo with Hotforex but I would undoubtedly prefer to start from small demo to make trading conditions closer to live account.
