As I have noted repeatedly; anyone can come up with a "crypto" but only legitimately recognized countries can come up with "trading currencies". The entire notion of international trade and the valuation of one country's currency against another is based on this agreed international relationship and recognition.

People world over can assign value to anything from used cars to bubble gum wrappers but all will be valued in some "recognized" governmental form of legitimate currency.
