Currently 140 lots short and 20 lots long open on the master account, source the given MyFXBook link.

Where opening a lot short gives you the same result as closing a lot long apart from paying extra spread, why would the trader not have closed his long position first? The current action has only cost him the spread for 20 lots.

I don't think at all there is any scam. Acc is real for sure.
But yes, why never any slippage on TP/SL? I most of the time have slippage, with 1-2 lots. Sometimes positive sometimes negative.

Anyway, about leverage, I confirm with 2-3M$ you usually get max 1:50. 1:200 they will refuse.

I can't remember where I heard this unfortunately, but I've heard before you can negotiate 0 slippage with a broker.  You always pay in some other way such as higher commission or spread, but I believe it's possible.  However, it's no longer true ECN then.

Yeah this is probably true. Brokers are very flexible and open to individually tailored solutions when you have this kind of money with them.

Yeah I think it's news traders or scalpers, but there was someone on DF a while ago who said they were able to negotiate that as it suited their trading style.

Interesting that he is taking about 3% per position on a $2 million account.  Would make me sweat.

I'm frightened just logging in to the investor account to take a look, but have now got my popcorn out and am enjoying the scenery. I come on the forum here, write a post and the open floating balance has fluctuated by 50k, exciting. I think 3% risk is reasonable though, although this is a huge account if you join this service and copy the risk on your smaller account- for most people 3% is about right and it's good that he is trading the account in the same manner as it will be traded on customer accounts at the same risk, so that account behaviour ends up as expected.

..and as i write this the basket of trades in a negative is now in a 10k profit.. that'd be me done for the month, close them out and relax ha. Probably why i'm not a multi-millionaire ;).

It is just a question of scale obviously. Yesterday he just accommodate a 130k loss with no worries (I presume with no worries as per his style trade...).

I am, as all of us here, interested and intrigued with this trader and his account. I am consider following this signal also.

So please don't shoot the messenger but... it don't bugs you to see an account with such an amount trading with MT4? It is at my knowledge odd at least.

And again don't point your guns on me to be suspicious in a industry that probably has the most percent of scams of all investment industries, but again, I ask this:
Would be possible someone have an arrangement with a broker, and let say "have" a 2k$ live account as if it was a 2.000k$ live account?!

Or else have a 2.000k$ live account but with some arrangement with broker, and that will be in fact broker's accounting money. (stated as live, but no live afterall).

Pardon me If I seems a bit suspicious, but that is because I have been around at time enough to have saw almost everything in this industry...  ::)

Perhaps it may be possible, but I highly doubt that a broker such as PrimeXM would do anything like this. It would only hurt them in the long run.

Cheers,
David

I would never do that, and didnt think any pro trader would. Ah well, you get it all in forex.

Hi civfan,

I had a smile on my face when reading this post :) I appreciate you floating a hypothetical scenario rather than spreading more accusations about how something like this can't be possible.

There are a lot of MT4 accounts with balances over $500k running through our copier, so it's not as uncommon as you might think. People just don't share the accounts with the general public.

PrimeXM is by far the most popular broker/liquidity provider for large accounts, however there are still a few with Axitrader, Pepperstone and ATC.

there are some billion dollar single accounts all over the world sometimes risking even 10% on one trade, account size doesn't matter much.

we need to see overall % gain

hey LiveForexTrading,

I hope my recent comments don't be "lost in translation", since I am not a native english speaker. Though I have to point out that I do not see in my past comments something like "spreading more accusations about how something like this can't be possible".

On other hand, we as customers to survive in this industry have to be cautious enough before assuming what given to us is true and not half-true or so...

I think there is no point in a vendor be susceptible about that, special if ones make questions and doubts fairs and in a respectful way, since this is not an industry regulated or somehow clean of scams and alikes.

Anyway, I really doubt that any member here that be at time enough around (and I am since just the beginning and following donna from the fapturbo experience) don't have saw almost everything, concerning brokers, accounts, past performances, ... you named!

Having said that, of course I am interested in this trader and perhaps its services associated. That is obviously why it pop up some many questions about it.

So please see all my questions (about broker, stop loss by 0.1 pip, unusual big amount of public MT4 account, etc...) as healthier doubts about a potential customer, experienced enough about this industry.  :)
