Bonuses and newbies
« on: March 27, 2017, 10:25:26 AM »
Hello people!

Last two days I've received many (I mean more than usually) questions regarding prizes and bonuses from forex brokers. I began wondering if some of you, real traders, have ever participated in them.
I personally haven't and even haven't god such a thought as I'm comfortable without them. I've always thought that bonuses are not more than an actions for newbies. Still, newbies sometimes lack the experience for fulfilling the conditions that make the bonus money withdrawable. That's why the next question appeared: "Do experienced traders use them? And what types do they use, if an answer for the first question is 'Yes'?"
It's like a scientific research for me, I don't advise anything here as I don't work with bonuses by myself.
I just wonder if this offers can be a challenge for live trades as well as they can be a way of getting easy money for newbies?

Thank you for sharing your own experience in thoughts in advance, dear colleagues!

I am not willing to trade with any kinds of bonus offer at all, because the bonuses we get from our trading brokers practically cannot use at all due to margin stop outs. so, it is good to avoid any kinds of bonus offer to lead a comfortable trading life with certainly.

We the traders first of all have to make sure to take any kinds of bonuses from only repeated trading broker, otherwise it is useless to have 100-200% bonuses which cannot use at all due to margin stop outs. It would be great for us.

I do not  know why the people ignore trading deposits.  The traders who are not able to invest grand capital have to choose the broker which for all time ensures best trading environment for using any kinds of deposits including lowest trading spreads as well minimum margin requirements.

Well, I agree with your ideas, traders should learn to invest their own money, not waiting for someone to give funds to them.
But if we talk about some things (not money bonuses), but gold, electronics, etc?
I don't want to experiment by myself, so researching this theme on forums. I like discussing peoples' psychology, their motives and thoughts.

Hello Alex

I used profiforex's bonus, for every 1 lot traded you get $1 or if it's a cent account, 1 cent.  For a cent broker they've done me well.

The bonus can be comfortable if you can use it including comfortable trading spreads as well as minimum margin requirements  and obviously devoid of any trading limitations.

Personally, I would say to stay away from bonuses, regardless of ones level of experience. Theyre just a marketing ploy to draw in clients and few traders can actually fulfill the conditions the brokers set to actually withdraw them.
There is a good reason why recently the FCA and CySEC banned all bonuses and other regulators are mulling the same decision.

I always take part in demo contests from Hotforex and Tickmill. You lose nothing but get an opportunity to get substantial capital to start trading on live while mastering your skills on demo. Glad to know I'm allowed to take part every month even I was a winner in previous month.

I really like if there is a promotion from the broker, such as no deposit bonuses ;), deposit bonuses or any other thing that could push the currency trading activities
