[member=30382]joseph a[/member]: can you explain your EURCAD entry? If Stoch isn't anymore a criteria for entry then ok. But if this will be why you use the 2 STOCH indies and go long when both are overbought. Good for you STOCH wasn't relevant there.

I find that H1 STO is too lagging. If you wait for the color agreement, the move is nearly over and you end up with a false signal and a bad trade. One of my tweaks is to replace H1 STO with DSS (double smoothed stochastic) [google it and you will find the free mq4], set EMA=8 Sto=60. It is like a smoothed H1 STO.  I did a lot of home work on this.  Watch it rise to take a long trade when current TF STO issues a buy condition alert, vice versa for short. Take the first 2 early signals for each trend cycle. ("early" is discretionary.)  Don't be greedy. Trend can exhaust without warning.  Good luck.
