LinkUpHost VPS
« on: July 31, 2012, 06:51:58 AM »
Hi, anybody here has experience with linkuphost.com from Bulgaria?

This vps provider's got best rating in Myfxbook (http://www.myfxbook.com/reviews/vps-services) and earnforex (http://www.earnforex.com/forex-vps-hosting/), the support team states that they're using VMware hypervisor.

I use their vps22 solution since 3 months now and i am pretty satisfied with it. Had to install a Microsoft remote desktop client on my mac and the connection just works.  I had no downtimes till yet and their support was always fast and friendly.

Right now i am running 5 versions of mt4 at a time there at the performance is on the edge... i think in should upgrade to a bigger package or cut one of my demo accounts.

Only one thing is bit annoying - Theres no auto renewing. I get a bill every month and i have to pay it. As soon as i am totally clear about the package i will do a yearly subscription. So thumbs from my side but
a) only 3 months till yet
b) nothing to compare (pretty new to that kinda stuff)

Best - Lars

Hi Lars,

thanks for sharing your experience..., their VPS plans is pretty cheap, so I doubted about the quality at first glance, but I think experience is the best teacher;)

Hey guys,

i'm using LUH for one month now
and i'm totally satified with their service and price.
The support is ultra fast and the service for installation
is well done.

One thing is my problem with the latency though.
I'm at GKFX and had some really bad order times from 1-6 secs!
Of course not for all orders!
i'm now investigating the problem so
i can't say what exactly is the problem, but i will keep you updated.

Would be interesting to know how high your ram usage is.
I have also the Forex22 version with one gig of ram.

So i'm running two mt4 instances ( one got three charts and three eas, the other on two charts and two eas)
My ram usage is now at 650MB...
MAybe we come compare our results...

cheers

this is a very old topic. But this topic exist i think i no need to open a new.

i have use a vps  fxvm.net for 3-4 years,and now i find is pay about 470-480$ a year,get a vps  2 core cpu and 2GB RAM.

yesterday i see this vps  LinkUpHost ,i look at that, 44$ a month get 3core cpu and 5GB ram OR  480$ a year get 3 core cpu and 6GB RAM. i looks the same price compare with fxvm.net but has double powerfull than fxvm.net

But i don't know it is stable?

from my 3 years fxvm.net experience,it shut down only one or two time.

who use  LinkUpHost long time?what about it? why it is cheaper than other vps?

It was 2 times but we eventually replaced it because it had a bad DDR memory. Now is all OK.
