I have always stressed out that your emotions and brains are your keys to being profitable, emotions always help me stay out of danger.

The findings suggest that successful traders get a signal from a part of their brain that it's time to sell before a peak is reached. I believe there are some characteristics that are innate (such as being intelligent) but I think being a good trader can be taught.

Whose findings, if you don't mind me asking?

Yeah in discretionary trading I believe this is true, but it comes after a ton of screen time, where your brain gets programmed to the flow of a certain market.
This same thing is currently being tried to mimic with machine learning algos, but these algos will never come as good as a human brain who's been watching a certain market for years.

Great article. But I would not jump into conclusion to think that traders brains function differently. I find trading as a skill which is thought, like any other. Did you know that you cannot forget to ride a bicycle or to swim? There is also a signal in your brain for those activities.

Nice article! Thanks for sharing! It was quite fun to read but actually it makes sense for me.

Trading is not for stupid people. You have to be inteligent if you want to have some profit.
You have inspired me with this article! Thanks!
