The main benefit to spreadbetting is in tax savings. In some countries, gains from "gambling" are tax free (like here in the UK). So if you are a profitable trader it makes sense to do your trades through a spreadbet platform where possible.

Thanks Donna  :D

UK traders may get benefit from spreadbet, but how about the traders of other countries like Asia and others etc???? Is there any successful platform for those?  ???

I'm sorry i really cannot answer that as i do not know the position in these countries. Is gambling taxed in these countries... if you won the lottery would you have to pay? If so, then Spreadbetting is also likely to be taxed and not of benefit. If winning the lottery is free of tax, then you may have a case for using spreadbetting to avoid tax - phone up an accountant and double check. I know here in the UK many accountants offer a free 30 minutes of advice (in the hope that you like their service and so ask them to do your accounting) - check out if you can get the same in your country, with a good accountant you can get a lot of valuable advice in those 30 minutes ;).

You can only bet 1 pound per 1 pip or is there something like lot size?

Not lot size, instead you have a stake size. So your stack per pip can be anything from 10p per pip to huge amounts depending on the Spread betting firm you use.

It is too early to construe on status of spreadbetting in Asian Countries. In most of them even conventional forex trading has ambiguous position without adaptation to local financial regulations. Spreadbetting has its own pecuilarities which still haven't worked out and don't have established interpretation.
