MT4 Build 388
« on: February 26, 2011, 07:46:58 AM »
One of my brokers is now offering an upgrade from MT4 v229 to MT4 v388.

I can't find any information about build 388. Can anyone help?

Nice to see Metaquotes are still working hard on MT4 and not giving it up in favour of MT5.

From what I have seen of MT5 so far, it will need a lot of work before it catches up with the popularity of MT4.

So far only a couple of my brokers are using build 388.  AAAFX and FX Primus, these prompted me to update on Sat.  I'm also on FX Pro and ATC Brokers and the MT4s in these have not prompted me to update yet.

Just running it on demo so far. No obvious problems but after v226 horror story I'm being very cautious.

Reiner, have you tried Tools > Options > Charts and checked out the 2 Max Bars settings at the bottom of the window?

Just out of interest, was your chart set to autoscroll ( Charts > Auto Scroll) when you had the problem?

New build 392 out.  Should we create a new thread for that.  Its probably a bug fix for 388.

Nice to see MT4 being worked on again. Perhaps they'll soon ditch MT5 and incorporate some of those nice backtesting features into MT4. Living in hope  ;D

Hy, I have a problem with it. When I open the terminal, the journal just shows me this message "LiveUpdate: new version 4.00 build 392 is available", but it doesn't actually upgrade it, and I can't seem to find a way to do it myself, without loosing my work. At the moment, I'm on 229.
Can anyone please advise?
Tks
