And a draw down that looks like 60- 70 percent.    Look at december 2011.

It would be wise not to overlook that...for sure.  But also look at the recovery- no desperation or revenge trades. I was impressed by that. I can't think of another signal provider that has done that; most are never heard from again.

BTW Mark- that GJ trade this morning was just showing off!

I had gone to bed last night (I live in California) thinking I was done for the week. I wake to see a spot-on NFP trade for an extra 121 pips! OK, now I guess I'm done for the week :)

Ok thats fair.  But with NFP  you can win 121 pips or you could  just as easy lost it i think.

Re: BULL'S EYE TRADING SIGNALS - December drawdown (explanation)
« Reply #108 on: June 02, 2012, 05:31:29 PM »
I would like to address the drawdown in the December period.

As were were incurring technical issues with our copier, in order to run a test, I placed manual trade (this was not a trade generated by our trade copier to our signal clients) on the Slave myfxbook tracking account. I neglected to place a stop loss on the trade and ended up closing the trade at an enormous loss.

It is important to reiterate, the manual trade, and the subsequent massive loss was NOT incurred by our signal clients. This one-off trade that was not sent via our trade copier, but manually placed by me on our myfxbook "tracking" account.

As the drawdown was not sent to our clients, I would have been justified in starting another myfxbook tracking account.

In my ongoing effort to be as ethical and transparent as possible, I made a deliberate decision to keep the original record (together with this manual trade fiasco).

I think if you look and assess our overall long-term record - the time before the trade in December, and the time after - you will be satisfied with this explanation.

Please feel free to contact me at info@bullseyefx.com for any further questions or concerns you may have.

Regards,

Mark

The performance that replicates our signals service 1:1 can be viewed via this link:

http://www.myfxbook.com/members/Pincer/bulls-eye-forex-signals/147518

The Live account on ForexPeaceArmy is my personal account - which is our signals on steroids - meaning I take the signals generated to our clients with significantly higher leverage (greater reward AND greater risk). Our signal clients always have the option of changing the risk setting on our automated trade copier EA to suit their risk temperament and invest objectives.

Regards,

Mark

Also I might mention guys, my live results match the vendors perfectly; always have.

I'm a little bummed because right now I'm in the process of closing my Hot Forex account and waiting for the funds in my new FinnFX to show up- so no doubt I will miss a few trades.

Makes me wonder how long 'till FinnFX buckels to the pressure of the idiots currently running our country.

Eating shit is more like it. I'm still with them but leave the copier off much of the time. I'll turn it on and look at their pendings and decide if they look like smart trades. Many do not and are deleted. Lately they have been repeatedly chasing bum trades, over and over. I wish they would buy on the dips rather than the highs, but that's not their style.

It's gonna be a long road back for them now, the way they've been trading. Fourtunately, I haven't suffered nearly as much as the master account.

Wow, looking at their Myfxbook page, they have 4 losing positions open with XAU. Losses with this one instrument amount to approx 25% of account. Seems like irresponsible trading to me.
Also looks like almost everyone that would have started with them at almost anytime since last September would be showing a loss on their equity balance.
