Thrust Forex

The vendor of Thrust Forex is available on the forum to answer questions and comments about their product. If you have had any experience trading the Thrust Forex signals, please let us know your experiences and feel free to discuss results, etc. The vendor appears to be very approachable, available, friendly and willing to go into details about their product (ie they know at least a little about what they are doing - sounds basic but some vendors really don't know a thing!).

Thank you Donna, I fully appreciate being added to your forum!

Welcome to the Thrust Forex thread,

I will start by introducing myself; my name is Kevin Fogarty, founder of Thrust Forex. I have traded Forex for around 8 years and after a brief spell working with WDFX I decided to set up my own analysis and signal service.

I trade my own unique method primarily on the 4 hour and daily charts with the odd signal on the 1 hour chart depending on conditions. My method focuses around pure price action, money management and discipline. I look for areas of space in the market and look to take advantage of that space. To put it simply, I only trade when the market allows me to trade. Meaning, unless the market is willing to match my bet I dont trade.

Any current, past or potential members please feel free to use this thread to ask any questions, voice any concerns or give support and I will be more than happy to participate.

All the best,
Kevin

I have been a member of Kevin's new service since its inception earlier this year. I have known Kevin for about a year when we were both members of a live trading room where he was one of the senior traders.

Kevin's trading methodology and signals that he shared with the members were both popular and highly instructive, so when he decided to go out on his own, it was without hestitation that I joined his new enterprize.

My ongoing personal development as a trader and the steady supply of profitable trading signals have kept me both in the money as well as developing my skills in price action trading.

As you will discover this is not just a signal service. Kevin will be instructing those who are interested in his trading method, discipline in sticking with a system and the all important money management. The group communicate via skype, twitter and email where signals are posted and discussion about the Thrust trading method takes place.

I live in Australia where trading the late London and New York session is difficult. Thrustforex has a reliable trade manager/copier that trades the signals and manages all trades minimising the impact of time-zone issues.

A word of caution. I wouldn't go into any trading system without a commitment to stick with it over a reasonable period of time. March trading proved testing. Kevin's guidance kept us motivated and all losses were recovered by the end of the month, which only goes to prove the robustness of this system.

Been with Kevin for a while now and more than happy with the service. Good mix of daily and 4 hr trades on various pairs with good tight stops, even on the dailies. Kevins system actually makes sense and you can understand what hes looking for when he trades. Risk/reward is always at least 1:1 but on most occasions its way better than that.  Plenty of analysis on the website which is continually updated. Active skype group also and Kevin is always available to answer questions and help. In a couple of trades atm, one up about 20 pips and the other up about 30 pips  :)

Known kevin for well over a year now and started using his signal service from its launch. Good solid trading system that he had developed himself with specific entry and exit points with no sticking your finger in the air. You are either in or out. Good reslults so far this year with only March being a difficult month due to whats going on around the world. Very on the ball with money management (which is where most of us fall down) and gives good advice when needed.  A real trader with a good system not one of those that passes off other peoples trades and systems as their own, and you can usually get hold of him for 16 hours of the day on skype, so he certainly puts the hours in!

Hello jgadefelth,

Yes that is correct; the EURJPY trade was a life saver at the end of a very difficult month in some of the worst trading conditions in years. What with the Libyan war and the Japanese earthquake I was more than pleased to finish the month the way we did. Trading is a very dangerous profession and money preservation has to be paramount with any method. If I have three week's out of the month where I am breakeven or at a loss, that doesnt stop me from trading my method because I know it will pull through if I remain disciplined.

My method works like this:

Trade Types:

1. Thrust Range
2. Thrust Runner

Entry Methods:

1. Thrust Removal
2. Thrust Breakout

Exit Methods:

1. Win
2. Partial Win (Thrust Trend Indicator Decides)
3. Loss
4. Partial Loss (Thrust Trend Indicator Decides)

Thrust range trades are designed to take advantage of pockets of space within an overall range, I call this space a thrust acceleration zone. These trades will generally recoup anything from 1/1 to 1/3 in the risk reward stakes and will generally use exit methods 1, 3 or 4.

Thrust runner trades are designed to take advantage of open space when a market begins to trend, again this is also known as a thrust acceleration zone but this one is into open space with a limitless risk reward opportunity and this trade will generally use exit method 2.

The problem with last month was that the majority of thrust range trades used exit 3 so the ones that did use exit 1 were not strong enough to make up the difference. So when we got the thrust runner trade on EURJPY it was a god send to make up for the hard month.

I hope that explains a little of why the results were the way they were last month. This will happen again of that I am sure, you just have to be prepared to ride out the storm, all part of trading Im afraid!

All the best,

Kevin

Going well this week. Just closed an Aussie trade at almost 5% return! ( 1% risk)There were a couple of losers earlier in the week but this trade has returned the loss plus extra. Also have 3 other trades running, 2 x dailies and 1 x 4hr. All in profit of +166 pips,+104 pips, and + 170 pips with stop at breakeven. These trades are all runners so have potential to go further. Even you get a few losers with this system you know that it only takes a couple of winners to pull it all back. Hoping to end this week with 10% profit ;)

Thanks Eddie,

As he mentioned in his previous post anyone is welcome to come and try out my service for a one month free trial. As membership increases I will look to introduce a live trading room which will allow members to learn my very simple method at their own pace in live situations.

We currently sit at just over 7% for the month and I will post the April results on the website this coming weekend.

As usual, if anyone has any questions please feel free to post them here or if you would prefer you can contact me on Skype or email.

All the best,

Kevin

Nice results the last couple of weeks. Some good runs on these USD crosses. :-*

Trades in play at the moment;

Cable up 200 pips as I write or 2/1 reward risk

Aussie up over 100 or 4/1 reward to risk

and the Dollar/chef up 280 odd pips. 2.8/1 reward to risk

We have been in the UsdChf since about half way through the month. Daily trade signal.

Kevin is about to go on holiday.  You might want to delay until June.
