NetPicks Live Signal Service - Trading Room/Signals
« on: August 01, 2011, 05:43:34 PM »
Has anyone ever heard of this or is currently trying this? They are offering a 2-week FREE trial to try out their trading room. It opens at 8:30EST. They give live signals for EURUSD, EURJPY, Crude Oil and Russell eMini. Checkout the following link: http://www.netpicks.com/trading-systems/signal/

No harm in trying as it's free. I'll probably give it a go. The monthly subscription rate after the trial period is $197.

This doesn't seem to be the first offering from NetPicks (their name has appeared a few times in this forum) but looks like it's the first time they are having a trading room. Correct me if I'm wrong...

Here's the info from their email (I've removed the links to the website which I mentioned above):

Same Awesome Results but Half the Work?
How's it done? It's called a Signal Service and
it just might be your saving grace.

===>> Click here for an Intro 2-Week Test Drive!

Look, for alot of people, trading systems aren't
the right fit. Maybe you don't want to commit the
time and energy in learning the rules, figuring
out the indicators & not to mention remembering
it all in real time when you start trading on the
live markets...

It can be overwhelming.

And that's why today, we're introducing the
NetPicks Live Signal Service!

Where you can get the same amazing results
(because our signals come straight from our
'tried and true' trading systems) but literally
do half the leg-work. Just enter the live trade
room each morning, listen to the trades being
called and take each trade when instructed.
That's it.

===>> Test it out for 2-weeks, no strings whatsoever

No struggling - just follow directions. Plus, you
get the benefit of a professional trading coach
sitting with you side-by-side as you trade the
markets. In this case, it's headed by
co-Developer of the SST, Coach TJ Noonan.

Best of all, because this is the first-ever release
we're GIVING YOU a 2-week test-drive
completely on us. That's right - test our
signals and see if this is the ideal fit for you for $0.

I realize that not everyone learns the same way,
so consider this another way to succeed in the
markets. Click here to take your 2-week
test-drive, today:

===>> Sign-up Today, Start Trading Tomorrow Morning

Hope to see you in the room tomorrow!

I sent them an email with some queries on their traded pairs, TP and SL. Following is their reply:

Yes we trade a few paris the EURJPY and the EURUSD.  The trades can be from 20 pips and it is usaully 1 to 1 to the fixed target..then we sell some and trail.  Today we had moves over 100 pips on both markets and Friday was great.  So, you should come to the trial when you can.  It will still be open later in the month.

Hi Everyone,

I encountered this forum and thread and thought I would join so as to be able to answer any and all questions regarding NetPicks, the LIVE Traderoom, the SST Trading System, etc..

I am the host/moderator of NetPicks' LIVE Traderoom and Signal Service.  I am also the Author/Creator of the SST (Seven Summits Trader) Trading System and the SST Simple.  Moreover, I have been a tradecoach and trainer with NetPicks for several years, hosting many live and virtual intensive bootcamp style trainings both here in the US and abroad.  I've written for many newsletters, have held numerous interviews, appeared on a variety of talk shows, given countless presentations at tradeshows and webinars, have produced countless training videos on all subjects trading, and of course, have been trading for nearly 20 years.  I have a deep respect for traders and the trials and plights that traders experience on a regular basis.

Please feel free to address all questions to me for a straight forward, direct honest answer.  I'm hear to help.

Let me please disspell some misconceptions.  With all due respect, buhalo is incorrect.  The SST requires the bar to actually close prior to trade setups to be valid. and it is the SST that we are using in the LIVE Traderoom.  There is NO repainting.

The LIVE Traderoom in its current form has actually been going strong for several years.  Over the past year though, it has been a private, members only traderoom.  This month, we have opened it up to non SST members.  Prior to the private traderoom that it was, it was a signal service open to whomever wanted to join.  I began hosting it in April of 2008.  It remained a non exclusive traderoom up until August of 2010, when the SST first became available to the public, at which point we made it exclusive to SST Members only.

I am happy and proud to report that we have managed a solid winning record and continue to do so.  Even today, we made all new record profit levels on our proxy market, the Russell eMini.  We are fast approaching the +300 point level for the year in profits using the basic SST method.  Today is just our 3rd day as a non exclusive traderoom and we were able to quit with handsome profits across all the markets we follow, forex and futures.  We also cover stock swingtrades and easy to follow option strategies when time allows.  Actually, I've been restraining those for now until the government gets the debt ceiling 'thing' cleared up (whatever that means).  I may be getting long some gold etfs though, if my entry is triggered.  Possibly Silver etfs too.  If so, I will be sharing those trades with the traderoom membership.

Anyway, I hope that tells the story a little more clearly.  Please feel free to ask questions, etc.  Also, the two week free invitation is certainly available to whomever wants to test drive the traderoom at absolutely no risk.  As traders we all live in the world of uncertainty, at the right edge of the chart and all we can do is work at putting the odds in our favor on every trade and putting forth a tradeplan that provides us with a significant edge in the market. I feel we do an excellent job of accomplishing that and it shows in our results. -- TJ

By the way, I'm new to this forum as I stated.  I do not intend for this to be an 'advertisement' so if I need to delete something or whatever, please let me know.  I am merely trying to provide accurate information about our service since I noticed some incorrect information being stated by others.

Welcome to the forum, and don't worry! - we actually like and encourage site owners/support staff to come here and answer questions and criticisms. The main thing to remember though is that we are still a forum for traders and on the traders 'side', not a platform for sellers to advertise, and to always keep things honest because if we get evidence of scammy or fraudulent behaviour then we do publish this for traders benefit. So, thanks for stopping by and contributing - i'm sure it will help people reading this topic.

Excellent!  Thank you for the warm welcome.  In response to the question from jgadefelth, the best place to find information is at www.SevenSummitsTrader.com.  There is a ton of info dating all the way back to the first release of the SST last August.

As far as the live traderoom goes, please understand that we have only been a 'signal service' for three days now.  Prior to that, as I stated, we were a private traderoom.  All the results from that time are posted in the SST Owner's Club website which is a private site but you can find posts referring to our results on the blog I mentioned above.

When we were a signal service in the prior years as I mentioned, we mainly focused on futures.  There was a blog I regularly posted to during that time where I documented all our results for 2008, 2009 and up until we went private in mid 2010.  Those results are currently summarized on the welcome page when one first signs up and enters the current live traderoom.

I have begun posting the new results on a newly formed site:

http://netpicks.com/signal-service/

Feel free to visit as often as you'd like to keep tabs..

If you want to gain any respect around here you must verify your results. All indicators you have released were MT4 based which means you do actually use an MT4 platform and you can post results on myfxbook site. And even if you do not use an MT4 platform for some another BS excuse you want to create, there are reputable third party results auditing agencies that can take care of confirming to the public that your results are real.

Launching silly excuses like what you just did ALWAYS points to one fact only.... You are a scammer.

I use Tradestation for my futures trading and all my charting, including forex.  I use Think or Swim for my stock and options trading.  I like Oanda as a forex broker.  Abdul, I'm not sure why you are so antagonistic, but we offer a free look at our service and I have been posting results and all sorts of useful stuff for years.  Just because you haven't encountered it doesn't make it not so.  You are correct about all the auditing services that exist, etc..  If I was hurting for clientele, or felt I needed to boost up my credibility I would probably employ their services.  The thing is, I am not.  The live members who enjoy the service and training I provide are all I need and their opinion is what counts most to me.  I am out there putting my rear end on the line each and every day calling trades while dozens of members are hanging on my every word.  It's an awesome responsibility that I do not take lightly.  The results are what they are and there are plenty of witnesses each and every day to testify to that fact.  We do take losses.  We trade through tough sessions sometimes.  But the system I am utilizing continues to swing the odds back in our favor and we are posting record profit levels over and over again.  Don't believe me.  Be skeptical.  I would be too.  But the ability to check it out is open to you and everyone else so before you sling mud, maybe you should get informed.  You obviously have not bothered to verify whether your own opinion is even fairly derived.  Our system is NOT solely designed for MT4 as you stated.  In fact, MT4 isn't even the platform we recommend.

I'm not begging you or anyone else to follow what I say or do.  I only jumped on this forum to correct an inaccurate post about the company that I work for.  Someone said that the SST repaints, so I jumped on to correct that false statement.  It does not.

It never ceases to amaze me how false information gets spread around, even moreso than accurate information.  The internet is incredible but the problem is everyone has an equal voice no matter whether what they say is true or false. I get that.  That fact is not lost on me.  But what amazes me more is how those who wish to guard against false statements are themselves guilty of the same.  It's far better to just shrug your shoulders and admit that maybe you don't really know, rather than to make statements that you have no idea of whether what you are saying is actually true or not.

The problem with forums is that most unsuccessful traders fail to take responsibility for their own trade decisions and haven't figured out how to be successful so they think everyone is out there scamming.  I have found that most successful traders are too busy enjoying the fruits of their success to even bother with slinging negative comments at others.  Think what you want.  All I know is that the members in our traderoom were very happy again by today's results -- there were over 50 'auditors' in there today -- and I was quite happy with my own trade results as well.
