I can't believe that ActivTrades is listed as a 'Grade A Broker'!
They never have real interbank accounts! They are a real MM!
Very often huge spikes to stop loss traders.

Get away of these scammers!

Hello.

The last post about this broker was more than 1 year ago... I would like to know recent experiences with this broker... About this broker, after I read his web, I like FCA regulation, the negative balance protection (you can not lose more than you deposit), and the insurance of your funds up to 500.000 Pounds per client, so in terms of security the features of this broker are really good, the best I have never seen, but all these features are not important if the broker is a bad broker with bad orders execution and other bad practices, for this reason I would like to know from real clients of this broker his opinions and experiences...

Thanks

The fact that the last post about Activtrades was a year ago says it all. They're not worth it. There are better brokers out there.
No Fear........Just Greed.

I use Activtrades from more than 2 years and honestly i must say that is a very good broker; data feed is very good and sui table for all EAs, spreads are OK and execution also very good. I am happy with them

Honestly i am very upset now with these guys: i have sent them a notice 1 week ago that they have triggered some buy stop orders placed by Forex Incontrol on EURGBP at a price that EURGBP never reached that day (for about 10 pips) and also if i have sent them many e-mails, till now no reply. Because of that i had to close my EURGBP basket in loss of about 100 eur on the recent up retracement because the stop loss was very close to avoid a loss of more than 400/500 eur, this only because of their bad datafeed. i had the same Ea working on XM (and so on a Market maker cent account broker, not sure an ECN broker) and there InControl placed the same buy stop order, which were never triggered, and so there everything is fine. I will little by little withdraw my money. They did not liked that in the last months i have earned nice money and so  :-X :-X :-X :-X
So, is nit true that only cent accounts broker can be dangerous, also FSA (UK) regulated can be very tricky. Anyway i will open a file complaint and will ask for a refund of the losses
The firts rule is alwasy: split ur trading account not only on different strategy, but also on different brokers

I agree with you. It is not so much about which jurisdiction the broker is regulated in really. It is about the integrity of the broker. Even if the broker is regulated in the 'best' jurisdictions, if he has an intent on cheating customers, he will. Just look at IG Markets (UK FCA) and FXCM (US CFTC regulated and NFA)

On the other hand, look at brokers at new zealand like FXPIG, or aussie brokers like Global Prime. Not as well 'regulated' as US CTFC and UK FCA. But....almost zero complaints about their brokerage. Bottomline is it is about the integrity of the person running the brokerage.

Sent again a reminder but after 8 days no reply; in the meantime i have manually closed the trades at a loss of 76 euros; honestly i am not so interested in a efund of 76 euro (i will not die for this amount), but i am concerned about their silence. I have also phoned them many timed this morning but noone reply. This is scary...
Is there is someone else Activtrades customer, plese, let me know if they reply to ur phone call
Very disappointed, with a broker that till now worked correctly and now ....
I hope they will reply and justify themself for a so big delay

After 2 weeks they have "started the investigation" and the result of course is that everything is fine and normal  ::) ??? :-\
But if the price level at which my stop orders were never reached the whole day and on other brokers the same orders were not activated?  :-\ :-X
But the more important question is: where is the difference between an FSA regulated broker and an OFFshore Broker?
The lesson is: split the funds and diversify the risks not only on different trading strategies but specially on different brokers; and of course i am withdrawing my miney from them and will leave on my accounts only few money

I agree. This unpleasant situation proves one more time that, youd better divide your funds and open several accounts with several brokers. This way helps to save your money, at least a part.
