No more hedging with usbrokers!!
« on: April 19, 2009, 10:29:11 AM »
Hi Donna! Hi people!

Recently, the NFA asked the SEC to approve a rule that states that investors may not have a long and short position on an investment vehicle at the same time. This is called HEDGING. The SEC approved the rule and now all brokers that are NFA members will both follow and enforce the rule. The rule is 2-43, and takes affect May 19, 2009. This new rule appiles to ALL NFA registered FCM's.  :o

Traders that use an EA like the "Forexfunnel" should keep this in mind!

Donna, am I right that ALPARI (UK) is not affected by this rule at the moment, because they are not regulated by NFA, but by FSA?
