Instaforex withholding funds for 45 days
« on: February 11, 2012, 10:22:53 PM »
Hi

I am having a problem with Instaforex. I am trying to withdraw my funds but they are saying because I deposited with Moneybookers I have to wait 45 days. This is what their email said:

Dear Client,

Due to increased number of Moneybookers fraud cases last months we would
like to notify you that your funds can be withdrawn only after 45 days.

We are sorry for this inconvenience, but your withdrawal can be
processed only after 45 days.

What can I do? I think it is absolutely ridiculous that they are withholding my money for 45 days. I have offered to send them copies of my ID but that didn't help. It says nothing about a minimum of 45 days before you can withdraw when depositing, only when I want to withdraw is when they tell me about it!

Any ideas on what I can do? Please Help!

i traded this broker several years ago in the days of the asian scalpers (megadroid, fapturbo) etc. they refused to pay my rebates that ran into several thousands of dollars even after killing my...and my clients accounts with the virtual dealer plugin. suddenly. trades would take 5 mins and above to close (with requotes) etc. it was a regrettable experience.
lay a complain here and they could help.

Thanks for your help Ninjaturtle.

It seems that the majority of Market maker brokers cannot be trusted. Even if instaforex describes themselves as an ECN broker!

I will lodge a complaint and hopefully get my money back.

Thanks

I think their problem is with Moneybookers. (Or me?)
The annoying thing is it doesn't say anything on their website about the minimum 45 days before withdrawal for moneybookers. If I had know this I would have deposited via a different method.

Lol, seems like I am not alone in this issue. Even my rebates program was removed. Email to query why went unanswered.

If moneybookers is the problem, why not cancel moneybookers as a method of deposit??
