I trade with Alpari UK with a Classic account.

They advise me that the dealing desk is automated for all trades with a lot size up to 1 Lot.  Above that size the dealers have discretion to either allow the automatic dealing or to intervene (which I assume could cause devastating delays for FAPT).  To keep my EURCHF lot size with FAPT below 1.0, I have two EURCHF charts open with FAPT and different magic numbers on the same copy of MT4.  Interestingly the trades on the two charts never match up. Maybe this will actually smooth results and lower risk (?).  I also trade USDCAD, but lot size is still below 1.0.

I use a Micro account for EA experimenting, as it seems to me that demo trading never delivers realistic results.

civfan,

I have live account with pronetfx. Its true they have very low spread. My FT open trades betweee 5 to 8 trades per/day. They friendly with EA's

However, i am not sure their reliability, some say they are not reliable and urged me to withdraw my money from my account soonest possible.

Donna,

Please do us a favour to check this pronetfx.

Thank you.

A trader claims to have lost $14,000 due to delayed execution of his trade....by 2 minutes apparently, so he's seeking assistance from Alpari.

no need to be shocked. If you trade during news times it can be difficult to have an order fille in or out.

hi all, i emailed alpariuk about the increase in their spreads since i signed up in the new year.  this is the response i got:

Dear Mr Lovatt

Thank you for your email.

We are sorry to hear you are unhappy with the current spreads we offer overnight.

We are looking in to offering floating spreads by the end of June.

Offering floating spreads means that our spreads will follow the spreads the major banks are offering, by taking the best bid and offer from a large number of price feeds from major banks.

Our spreads may widen over the release of major economic data to mirror those offered by the major banks.

If you have any further queries please do not hesitate to contact us.

can anyone tell me if this will be a good thing or a bad thing for scalping with fapturbo?

Thanks in advance

Mal........

hello,
I do not know if it's the right thread,
alpari opens the connection ecn also on micro accounts and classic!

http://www.alpari.co.uk/why-alpari/ecn?cm_mmc=Email_Live-_-ECN-October-_-Automatic

you have more detailed information, perhaps even to change the old classic or micro accounts in ecn?
