today got a new email update:

Hi,

Trustcom Bank was forced to close non EU company accounts with out warning due to new government regulations. ( this is the client trust account for holding funds) we had no warning from the bank about this, as soon as we have our new bank open the funds can be sent to you, as at this time they dont let us send to clients until the new bank is open.
thank you for waiting and we are very sorry for the inconvenience,

Regards

Jeff McClean

so... i am at risk to lost my money???

Unlikely - a similar thing happened with FXPIG last year when they had to switch banks due to regulatory issues (outside European jurisdiction)  - it happens with brokers which are in borderline regulatory territory, and obviously one to avoid in the future...also credit card companies would reimburse if funded that way if the broker can't.

hi guys,

i have a new update, after my new message to ask the situation i have this new reply:

"we are doing everything we can to open an account as fast as possible. we have all staff working on it, most banks said time is 1 month to open, we have found a bank works with FX brokers that said 2 weeks to open and we are working with them. we know this is bad for our clients, we have no way to send funds until account is open. we will update you as soon as we have the bank open.

Regards"

so... again to wait... this procedure need all this time???

How much did you deposit? Everyone has a "scam bar" inside of him we just need to offer good enough amount so he runs away with money  ;D

Just had a chat with Christine @ CM and I don't think there is anything to worry about - they are being held up by the bank but are still there to chat with clients whereas most scams will just shut down all communication. Apparently it also depends on which country you are from as they are still dealing with 'local' payments and withdrawals. I appreciate it is very alarming when the broker holds onto your money but in this case I think the outcome will be positive.

If you requested a withdrawal January 11 and still did not receive your money, something is VERY VERY VERY VERY wrong. Under no circumstances does it take one month to open a new bank account.

Call to FSCL and explain them the situation. May they can help

https://www.fscl.org.nz/search-financial-service-advisors/advisor/15426

Call to the FSP New Zealand. Explain them the situation and ask how you can proceed.

https://app.companiesoffice.govt.nz/fsp/app/ui/fsp/record/searchFsp.do?action=search&scrollTop=0&fspStatuses%5B0%5D=registered&fspStatuses%5B1%5D=deregistered&financialServices=ALL&searchScope=ALL&fspTypes=ALL&nameNumber=Circle&adv=true

https://fsp-register.companiesoffice.govt.nz/about/contact-us/

Search contact details from the Police in Warkworth, New Zealand. Call them and tell them that you suspect them of fraud. Ask them how to proceed.

When done with the above, call Circle Markets and tell them that you filed a complain with the FSCL and the FSP to recover your funds. You may also tell them that you suspect fraud and got in touch with the police in Warkworth.

Spend one hour daily to share your experience on social media and forums. Make sure you stick to the truth and send them links from your postings.

As soon they start to feel the squeeze, they will honor your withdrawal request.

I agree the above will help but it took FXPIG around a month+ to open a new bank account in the same jurisdiction ....no guarantees of course...
