The founder of BTC-e Aleksandr Vinnik, who is allegedly connected to the Russian military  intelligence and is accused of laundering over 4 billion USD, will be extradited to France.

Vinnik was arrested in 2017 in Thessaloniki, Greece, while on vacation at the request of the United States, where he is accused of laundering billions of dollars through the BTC-e crypto exchange, including the proceeds from the hack of Mt. Gox. back in 2014 - one of the largest crypto hacks in history.

Again and again, we find rogue regimes, who are not in the US, sphere of influence, using Western funds which they have stolen through hacks, blackmail and the rest, to enrich themselves and fund covert operations; my crypro friends claim that the US will allow this expansion to take place and make such cryptos as BTC gain legitemacy. It's  o.k., go backto dreaming.

I think it's too early to talk about the massiveness of bitcoin, because everything can change for the better and for the worse

The latest development in scams amid the coronavirus epidemic sees scammers taking advantage of peoples fears for extortion purposes. Specifically schemers are extorting people to send money in bitcoin, the untraceable decentralised currency of the web.

Internet users have been receiving shakedown emails demanding $4000 bitcoin purchases with threats of infecting family members if choosing not to comply. Many emails contain verified information on the viruss current development, making these extortions effective in both generating dirty money for fraudsters and for increasing panic.

Libra is a big challenge for a central bank, I think launching this token will face many barriers to development, if so will possible only for certain environment and ecosystem, and limited

Do you think Libra will still launch, considering the current economic problems?
