Hi Ivanvp, have you built Momentum Classic with the Strategy Quant software that creates trading system with genetic programming algorithms?
Have you gained much experience with this software?

Hi, I have maken only Quant Analyzer portfolios. All simulations will never show results as a Live trading and Live trading results of the system are very good and promising.

Dear friends,

I have Black Friday Offer for you: $250! Only until Saturday!

You can purchase EA at mql5 market: https://www.mql5.com/en/market/product/25517

ivan,

on your icfx account, do you run one chart mode ?

so 3 charts in total, one h1 one m30 one m15 ????

otherwise you would have to run like 30 charts in total.

sure a bit confused about that.

I am using OneChartMode : only 3 charts: M15, M30 and H1

ivan,

could you please post a backtest for gold only m15 for the exact period your signal was running, see pic below.

this shows gold m15 only. i am curious how well bt matches to your forward account, thanks much.

ivan,

i backtested mometum extensively, and it seems your master account does significantly better then the bt shows.

forward it seems to have many more trades for one, plus more gains.

so why is bt so unreliable ? on momentum other pairs with better modelling are the same in my bt, meaning your forward is a lot better compared to my bt.

i have some other ea which match forward to backtest perfectly, thats rare yes, but yours is way of, but in a good way so it seems.

You see different results, because at my master account were different versions since the version 2.0. For the moment, I am using version 3.1. For example, since the August I have implemented new Trailing Stop mechanism and etc.

yes i remember, there were some bugs for one and you improved it also, so that makes sense its hard to compare.

just now i matched euraud m30 to your forward...........................

and it matches very very well..................

We will always have some dismatches, because brokers have different ticks and quotes, so indicators data can be different, but at the distance results should be same

yes data feeds are all different across brokers to some degree no question.

thats why results can never be the same across brokers.
