My preference is AxiTrader (UK) or CMC Markets. Both are FCA regulated and both offer protection of your funds via the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS).

I usually withdraw directly to my bank account (takes a couple of days, sometimes quicker if a large amount).

I cannot speak for PayPal withdrawals, best to check with them.

When you say large sum, bear in mind the FSCS only covers up to £85,000 per account, so you may need to diversify with different brokers if you intend to deposit more than this.

When u say a large sum, how much?

I saw a few posts on this and other forums were a large sum is about $1000!

Anyways, if it's large enough perhaps you need to look for brokers with good institutional deals

I have had good feedback from clients trading with Varianse. The forum has an IB deal for Varianse: https://donnaforex.com/index.php?topic=19466.0

If you compare spreads of the following three Brokers Darwinex, AxiTrader and Varianse, the cheapest will be the AxiTrader Pro-account. Darwinex and Varianse have nearly equal spreads on some pairs, but Darwinex has some better spreads on a few pairs.

So overall AxiTrader pro > Darwinex > Varianse.

I only compared spreads in this case.

Varianse charge a comission fee to pay with debit\credit card but free for bank transfer. I normally like paying with debit card.
I have a closer look at darwinex mt4.

You can try Hotforex, Tickmill or IB. I consider them best among FCA brokers.

I have accounts with Axitrader, Tickmill, and Darwinex (and others).   All good brokers.   I don't like to put my money all in one place though, just in case.  With FCA regulation you will most likely get your money back, but these things can take quite a long time due to the speed (or lack there of) of the legal system.  So, I don't like to take the chance that all my investment money would be tied up for a long period of time.  Diversify.  But be sure the diversification is only in the best and most honest brokers.
