Volatility is already falling. I do not see a reason why not to start your portfolios again.

You get profit on the other side  ;)
The positions are totally hedged and once one trade is closed with a loss another trade is closed with an equal profit  8)
And this is why the whole thing is so brilliant - there is no risk of the losses!  ;D

Market neutral strategy in FX?? Transaction costs will eat any profit and if there is a profit opportunity (like cross broker swap arbitrage) it will be limited because brokers can easily detect such strategies and terminate accounts.

Thank you for your sharing your expert opinion. :-X

hey dipstick - i was talking to the sales guy coz he brought my name up, it wasnt meant for you dipstick, so why come in and stir the pot? why not juz carry on with your whinning trades bugga. for the record the questions have not been answered so all good, just keep whinning mate.

iMusingKiMi put in the effort needed and I believe he makes somewhere between 8-12% month with the system. You may find it funny to bully him and call him dipstick or a whinning (whatever that word means), but at the end of the day it is still iMusingKiMi who did what it takes to become a consistently profitable trader.

I think you could learn a lot from him.

Alexander

Hi Alexander, thank you for helping me to answering the fact. I am in this financial field for roughly about 15 years and it wouldn't surprise me with all his comment. I have another story to share. I do play both online poker and live poker sometime. You can always see the same attitude human being around that accusing the game is rigged, but in fact they just couldn't find a way to beat them. That's why they started whining and telling everyone it is rigged against them. In fact, people work hard to find the way that works, and he sit there hoping for easy money without putting in any efforts.

If you chose your trade size so that you had to re balance your portfolios every two month (in average) and have to start it new, consider the following.

1) Though volatility is already again falling, it is still higher than usual.
2) More price movement can mean that you have to re balance your portfolio more often.

You can...
a) Simple accept that you have two re balance your portfolio more often. Maybe not every 8 weeks but every 6 weeks in average.
b) Reduce the trade size. Doing so will give your portfolio more space to breath.

I followed some myfxbook link on your page and ended up on a page what says:

The page you're looking for was either removed or doesn't exist.

Not very encouraging!

I guess you found somewhere an old ProFx link? This one:
https://www.myfxbook.com/members/Forex21/andrews-suggestions/3590285

If so, please use follow this one:
https://www.myfxbook.com/members/Forex21/andrews-suggestions/4660563

The page was not removed to hide something but as it stopped updating and MyFxBook support could not help, we made a new page for it. Andrew made a little swamp field trip in January but still averages 5% months and I am sure he will be back up to 6-7%/months in a few weeks.

If you are interested in semi automated trading, you can also follow his trade suggestions (live and provided in real time) on our forum.
https://forum.forex21.com/

I hope this helps.
Alexander

PS: Next time, please post ProFx questions in the ProFx topic. That is this one: https://donnaforex.com/index.php?topic=327.0

Yes, a new build version will be available soon. It will come with new security features such as interlocking and pairing trades. And we also added the much requested function to execute trades at the same time.

I hope this helps.
Alexander :)

Update? Does that mean that the actual one does not work anymore?

No. It just means that we continuously work to make further improvements.

As example:
  • The updated version will be easier to use and users will be able to place many trades at once.
  • Requested features like spread monitoring will be available.
  • New security features.

...and if we get it done....
  • MT4 and MT5 cross platform functionality.

If you plan to get yourself a copy, do so now. Because after the update the price will be increased.

I hope this helps!
Alexander :)
