Uk tax on forex trading

Hi quick question please.
Im from UK. Im with IC markets in Australia. If i copy a forex signal via the mt4 platform do i have to pay tax in the UK ? Or is it tax free ?

I found out if you use a mt4 spread betting account with for e.g FXCM and you live in UK its totally tax free

You can or you can't not file tax declaration and include gains from currency trading. If gains are small (like <2-3K month) I think tax evasion is not a problem. But something bigger should be declared. It of course depends on how you get money in the UK. For example I use Skrill and Webmoney payment options with Hotforex and then withdraw to local bank
